Carl Bauck

GARDEN CITY, KANSAS Carl F. Bauck, age 88, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born June 24, 1918 in Leoti, Kansas the son of John C. and Theresa M. Goetz Bauck. A resident of Garden City since October of 1992 moving from Leoti, he was a farmer. A member of St. Dominic Catholic Church of Garden City, he also belonged to the VFW Post 6752 and the American Legion both of Leoti and the Knights of Columbus of Marienthal, Kansas. He was a WWII Us Army veteran. On May 10, 1948 he married Laura V. Rome @ Damar, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include: 1 Son; James C. Bauck of Eastsound, Washington: 2 Daughters; Connie Barnum of Wichita, Kansas and Nancy Bauck of Lancaster, California: 2 Brothers; George C. Bauck of Leoti, Kansas and Clem J. Bauck of Leoti, Kansas: 2 Sisters; Margaret Wieser of Leoti, Kansas and Lucille Page of Albany, Wisconsin: 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers â Joe & Frank Bauck and 2 sisters â Gertrude Bauck & Helen Dinkel. Vigil & Rosary services will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, July 21, 2006 @ St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City. The Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00am on Saturday, July 22, 2006 @ St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City with Father Joseph Bahr presiding. Friends may call from 1:00pm-8:00pm Thursday and 10:00am-5:00pm Friday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. Interment will will at 3:00pm on Saturday @ the St. Theresa Cemetery in Wichita County, Kansas with full militray rites being presented by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
