Obituary of Lee Pfenninger

Leland D. “Lee” Pfenninger, age 83, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas.  He was born on September 5, 1938, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Carl and Angie Boring Pfenninger.  A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he spent his life as a Cowboy.

Lee attended church at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas, was a member of the AQHA, and was in the Trail Drivers Hall of Fame.

Survivors include his Two Sons - Dave & Susan Pfenninger of Garden City, Kansas, Chris & Patti Pfenninger of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Bill & Linda Pfenninger of Hutchinson, Kansas, Eight Grandchildren, and Eight Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and One Infant Sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Scott County Indoor Arena in Scott City, Kansas with Randy Fisher presiding.  Service will be live-streamed at www.priceandsons.com.

Memorials in Lieu Of Flowers may be made to the Scott County Hospital or the Scott County Indoor Arena in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 am until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
