Tsega Ghidey Gebrihiwet, age 41, died on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas.  She was born on January 1, 1980 in Ethiopia, the daughter of Gebrihiwet and Beyenesh Gebremichael.

She has lived in Garden City for 5 years just recently receiving her US Citizenship.  She has worked for Tyson Fresh Meats.

She was a member of the Orthodox Christian faith.

On May 7, 2009, she married Weldu Weldemikale in Libya. He survives.

Visitation will be from 2-4 on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 11 am - 2 pm at Price & Sons Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
