Carolyn Kay Mohler, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on March 13, 1941, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Ted & Vera Greiner Patton. Kay was a lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, and was a Preschool Teacher and homemaker.
She was a member of the Prairie View Church of the Brethren in Friend, Kansas, and the El Quartelejo Museum of Scott City, Kansas.
On June 16, 1962, she married Rodney Mohler in Scott City, Kansas. He survives.
Survivors include her Husband - Rodney Mohler of Scott City, Kansas, Four Sons - Kevin & Janice Mohler of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Todd & Jean Mohler of Katy, Texas, Darrin & Amanda Mohler of Chandler, Arizona, Shawn Mohler of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Marilyn Newman of Lenexa, Kansas, Ten Grandchildren, and Ten Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Son - Marc Alan Mohler, One Brother - Dwayne Patton, and One Sister - Norma Lee Sullivan.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021, at the Prairie View Church Cemetery in Friend, Kansas with Rev. Jon Tuttle presiding.
Interment will be in the Prairie View Church Cemetery in Friend, Kansas.
Memorials in Lieu of Flowers can be made to the Western Kansas Children's Advocacy Center or the El Quartelejo Museum in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home; PO Box 553; Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
