Marjorie A. Riggs, age 75, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at her home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 28, 1939 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Roger and Doris Frost Heim. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a cook and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas. She was also a 4-H Leader, KWHA Member, El Quartelejo Saddle Club Member and Officer. On November 24, 1955 she married Bill L. Riggs in Ozark, Arkansas. He passed away on March 29, 2011 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include his Four Daughters - Vicki & EJ Ejibe of Wichita, Kansas, E. Jean & Pete Wiley of Fort Scott, Kansas, Lori & Calvin Copeland of Ford, Kansas, Monique & Dak Miller of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Shirley & Charles Griffith of Scott City, Kansas, Joy & Jess Cole of Scott City, Kansas, Ten Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, One Son - Billie Riggs, One Brother and One Grandson - Zachery Riggs. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 with Rev. Scott Wagner and Pastor Steve Payne. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church or Scott County 4-H % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott County, Kansas. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
