Garden City Yessica Jasmine Zarate, three month old daughter of Carlos A. Zarate and Clarissa S. Garcia, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2007 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on October 14, 2006 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors include her Mother, Clarissa S. Garcia of Garden City, KS. Her Father, Carlos Zarate of Garden City, KS. One Brother, Jacob A. Zarate of Garden City, KS. Grandmother, Anita M. Garcia of Garden City, KS Step Grandfather, Robert D. Erskin of Garden City, KS. Grandfather, Freddie Torres of Chicago, ILL. Grandparents, Isidro & Tammy Zarate of Garden City, KS. Great Grandmother, Penny Garcia of Jal, New Mexico. Great Grandmother, Sofia Bantista of Mexico. Great Grandfather, Vereen Forster of Gordon, NE. Great Great Grandmother, Alice Forster of Gordon, NE, and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her Great Great Grandfather â Pete Garcia. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Nicolas Robledo presiding. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
