Norma Worf

Norma Jean Worf, age 79, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Homestead Assisted Living Residence in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on December 20, 1928 in Finney County, Kansas, the daughter of Solomon & Hermie Mann Stukey. A Garden City resident since May of 2003, moving from Scott City, KS, she was a retired cashier for Kansas Nebraska Energy. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Scott City, Kansas. In January of 1957 she married Derward Worf @ Raton, New Mexico. He died August 17, 2003 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: One Daughter, Sidney Worf of Garden City, Kansas; Two Sons, Mark Worf of Garden City, Kansas and Steve Worf of Peyton, Colorado; Two Sisters, Wanda Bertholf of Garden City, Kansas and Mamie Crabb of Lawrence, Kansas 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchilren Memorial Services will be held at 10:30am, Friday, February 29, at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. David Bell presiding. There will be no public visitation. The family requests memorials be given to the Scott County Library and may be delivered to Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
