Lola Woolen

Lola M. Woolen, age 94, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 at Elms Haven Nursing Home in Thornton, Colorado. She was born on October 19, 1913 in Mullinville, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer and Murrell Cope Thompson. A resident of Scott City, Kansas for over 30 years moving from Tribune, Kansas she moved in 1989 to be with her family. She was a homemaker. Memberships include: Community Christian Church Scott City, Kansas On January 2, 1933 she married Willis W. Woolen in Guymon, Oklahoma. He passed away on November 15, 1978 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors Include: Two Sons Bill Woolen Martinez, California Errol Woolen Denver, Colorado Two Daughters Shiela Miller Ottawa, Kansas Sharon Vickers Broomfield, Colorado Nine Grandchildren Twenty Three Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents, Four Brothers, Four Sisters, and One Great Granddaughter.
