Shelby S. Wilson, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Lane County Hospital in Dighton, Kansas. He was born on August 25, 1929 in Hays, Kansas, the son of Elmer and Isabel Frazier Wilson. In 1968 he moved to Scott County, Kansas from California and then in 1972 he moved to Lane County, Kansas. Shelby was a Heavy Equipment Operator, a Farmer and a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Memberships include: Healy Prime Timers Healy, Kansas Joy Band Healy, Kansas Lane County Dusters Dighton Joy Center Dighton, Kansas Dighton American Legion Dighton, Kansas On November 14, 1972 he married Maxine M. York in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives. Other Survivors include: One Son Steven & Susan Wilson Spanish Fork, UT One Daughter Debra L. Ascarte Sacramento, CA One Step Son Robert & Pat Kenoyer Dighton, Kansas Two Step Daughters Fran & Jim Ross Ellis, Kansas Nancy Ratzlaff Garden City, KS Three Sisters Virginia & Jim Viani Kansas City, MO Ruth & Don Snider Joplin, MO Wanda & Frank Novy Wichita, Kansas Twelve Grandchildren Nineteen Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his Parents, and One Great Grandchild.
