William Hutchings

William "Bill" Hutchings, age 84, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on December 31, 1922 in Washington County, Missouri, the son of Ray and Lottie Hutchings. He was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1955 moving from Great Bend, Kansas. He worked for Weiser Drilling for 27 years before retiring. He was a World War II Army/Air Force Veteran. Member: First Baptist Church Scott City VFW Scott City On August 5, 1943 he married Mary Brown in Great Bend, Kansas. She survives. Survivors: Two Daughters Doris Messersmith Ozawkie, Kansas Sheila Palkowitsh Wichita, Kansas One Brother Orville Ives Scott City, Kansas Three Sisters Shirley Sadler Belgrade, Missouri Phyllis Warden Belgrade, Missouri Marion Sumpter Belgrade, Missouri Betty Winbruner Illinois Five Grandchildren Fifteen Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his Parents, Two Sons, One Daughter, and Two Brothers.
