Scott City
Willard H. Wells, age 83, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on November 2, 1926 in Scott County, Kansas, the son of Henry and Alice Flaiz Wells. A longtime resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1963, he was the owner and operator of a local iron and salvage yard.
He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II.
Survivors Include his Two Sons - George Wells of San Diego, California, Bill Wells of Claremont, California, Two Brothers - Malvin Wells of Scott City, Kansas, Edd Wells of Leoti, Kansas, Three Sisters - Wilma Baker of Scott City, Kansas, Charlotte Holmes of San Diego, California, Aleta Barrows of Ness, Kansas, Four Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Sister - Maggie Conine and One Brother - Howard Wells.
Memorial Graveside Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas with the Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding.
Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Scott County EMT's in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
There will be no visitation times.
