Wilbur Plowman

Wilbur LeRoy Plowman, age 68, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Wichita County Hospital in Leoti, Kansas. LeRoy was born November 8. 1944 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Wilbur E. & Edith Gibson Plowman. He was a farmer and truck driver and was also retired from the United States Army. LeRoy attended the Assembly of God Church and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W., both in Tribune, Kansas. In September of 1976, he married Diana Kay Jasper in Tribune, Kansas. She passed away on April 18, 1995 at Tribune, Kansas. LeRoy's surviving family includes- Two daughters- Candace Hardy- Larned, Kansas Cookie Altman- Leoti, Kansas One son- Casey Plowman- Hugoton, Kansas Eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren A granddaughter, Morgan Altman, preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. (M.D.T.) Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse, Kansas with Reverend Bob Everest officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be sent to the LeRoy Plowman Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
