Wanda M. "Granny" Evans, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on April 24, 1932 in Foss, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edgar Andrew and Susie Belle Fogle Baker. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since March of 2008 moving from Sharon Springs, Kansas, she was a Secretary and a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas.
On March 17, 1951 she married George Evans in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives.
Survivors include her One Son - Kyle and Shirley Evans of Scott City, Kansas, Two Daughters - Peggy & Wade Graber of El Dorado, Kansas, Karen & Lou Crotta of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Three Brothers - J.R. Baker of Olney Springs, Colorado, Bobby Baker of Olney Springs, Colorado, Keith Baker of Sharon Springs, Kansas, Two Sisters - Loretta Hamilton of Pueblo West, Colorado, Mary Shaffer of Aurora, Colorado, Six Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents.
Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m Saturday, August 10, 2013 with Rev. Kyle Evans & Rev. Wade Graber presiding.
Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
