Virginia Robinson

Virginia A. Robinson, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas. She was born on August 27, 1943 in Lamar, Colorado, the daughter of Louis & Wilma Turley Smith. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2005 moving from Delta, Colorado, she was an aide at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. On December 4, 1961 she married Richard Robinson in Cortez, Colorado. He passed away on August 29, 1972 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Survivors Include her One Daughter - Alberta & Bernie Zimmerman of Greenfield, Iowa, Three Sons - Jess & Lauri Robinson of Big Lake, Minnesota, Richard & Dawn Robinson of Scott City, Kansas, Louis & Carolyn Robinson of Des Moines, Iowa, Father - Louis Smith of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Larry & Jacque Smith of Bucklin, Kansas, Nine Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother, and husband. Memorial Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009 with the Rev. Jeff Knighton presiding. Inurnment will be in the Cortez Cemetery in Cortez, Colorado at a later date. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church % Price & Sons Funeral Home. There will be no visitation times.
