Virginia K. Clinton

Virginia K. Clinton, age 61, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at her home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on October 23, 1958, in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Reece and Delores Thon Roemer. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1981 moving from Healy, Kansas, she was a Bookkeeper and Grain Merchandiser for Scott Coop for 38 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas and was a member of the United Methodist Women. On April 11, 1981, she married Darryl Clinton in Healy, Kansas. He survives. Survivors include her Husband - Darryl Clinton of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sons - Matthew & Marissa Clinton of Scott City, Kansas, Jeremy Clinton of Scott City, Kansas, Mother - Delores Roemer of Scott City, Kansas, Two Grandchildren - Kale Clinton and Karli Clinton of Scott City, Kansas, and Three Brothers - Vernon & Michelle Roemer of Colby, Kansas, Kenneth & Dana Roemer of Emporia, Kansas, Dennis & Janet Roemer of Edmond, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her Father - Reece Roemer. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Bud Tuxhorn presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials In Lieu of Flowers can be made to the United Methodist Women in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
