Scott City, Kansas Victoria Theresa Murphy, Age 80, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 @ the Diamond View Estates Assisted Living Center in Dighton, Kansas. She was born June 21, 1925 at Zurich, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph C. & Nelda C. Martell Thyfault. A resident of Dighton since 2004 moving from Scott City, Kansas she was a homemaker. On October 22, 1946, she married Walton W. Murphy @ Woodston, Kansas. He died in October of 1991 at Garden City, Kansas. Survivors include: 2 Sons, Wade (& Jill) Murphy of Garden Grove, California and Marlin (& Carolyn) Murphy of Scott City, Kansas. 2 Daughters, Melanie Valley of Mission, Texas and Marsha (& Alan) Scott of Dighton, Kansas. 2 Brothers , Felix Thyfault of Fort Collins, Colorado and Leo Thyfault Fort Collins, Colorado. 3 Sisters, Josephine Brin of Canon City, Colorado, Edna Towns of Palco, Kansas and Celia Keller of Hays, Kansas. 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 Brothers, Gilbert, George & Al Thyfault and 1 Sister, Melvina Bedore. Funeral Services will be held @ 10:30am on Monday, January 16, 2006 @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Mike McGuire officiating. Friends may call from 1-8pm Saturday and Sunday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
