Tina Joan Swift, age 55, completed the journey of her life at her home in Gunnison, Colorado on Sunday, April 22, 2012 following an extended battle with cancer. Tina was born September 22, 1956 in Leoti, Kansas, the daughter of Eugene & Billie Macku Biel. She graduated from Wichita County High School in 1974 and from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1978. Tina earned her C.P.A. designation in 1989 and was owner and operator of Swift Accounting Services in Gunnison, Colorado.
The joys of her life were her devoted husband, children, grandchildren family and friends. Tina was an outdoors enthusiast, hiking, biking, golfing and skiing the Rocky Mountain Range. She loved to travel, play cards, bingo and dominoes. Tina's sense of humor and love of life will be the legacy she leaves behind to those who love her so dearly.

Tina was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Biel, on June 14,2011 in Wichita, Kansas.
Close friends and family will celebrate Tina's life on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at her home in Gunnison, Colorado.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas with Father Benjamin Martin officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Marienthal, Kansas.
