Timothy Dirks

Timothy Don Dirks, age 16, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Hays, Kansas as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on May 7, 1996 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Daryl & Vernita Schmidt Dirks. A lifetime resident of Scott County, Kansas he was a student and worked for Dirks Earth Moving. He was a member of the Scott Mennonite Church in Scott County, Kansas. Survivors include his Parents - Daryl & Vernita Dirks of Scott City, Kansas, Three Brothers - Terrell & Julie Dirks of Scott City, Kansas, Brent & Renita Dirks of Morrill, Kansas, Keith & Joni Dirks of Scott CIty, Kansas, Two Sisters - Nancy & Landon Koehn of Marienthal, Kansas and Rachelle & Daryl Ensz of Fort Sumner, NM. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents. Funeral Services will be held at the Scott Mennonite Church in Scott County, Kansas 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 with Minister Charles Nightengale & Minister Daniel Koehn presiding. Interment will be in the Scott Mennonite Church Cemetery in Scott County, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Sunny Plains School in Scott County, Kansas % of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Thursday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
