Thelma Bolognini

Garden City, Kansas Thelma H. Bolognini, age 85, died Monday, January 21, 2008 at her daughters home in Corrales, New Mexico. She was born on November 20, 1922 in Sublette, Kansas the daughter of William A. and Hazel Schavo Miller. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Garden City, Kansas since 1989 moving from Farmington, New Mexico. She had recently moved to Corrales, New Mexico to be near her family. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Garden City, Kansas. On June 25, 1945 she married Victor V. Bolognini in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died June 14, 1979 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Survivors Include: One Son, John (&wife Mary) Bolognini of Phoenix, Arizona; Two Daughters, Vicki (& husband Ron) Reder of Corrales, New Mexico and Kathie Bolognini of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; One Brother, Kenneth (& wife Betty) Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada; One Sister, Donna Gillan of Elk Grove, California; Four Grandchildren and Five Nephews & Nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Miller. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Lisa Klaus presiding. Friends may call from 10:00am-8:00pm on Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. The family requests memorials be given to the LCMS World Mission to support the work of Jennifer Bolognini in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
