Terry Dale Donecker

Terry D. Donecker, age 79, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Lane County Hospital in Dighton, Kansas. He was born on September 3, 1945, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Dale Albert & Edith Lorraine Russell Donecker. A lifetime resident of Lane County, Kansas, he was a farmer, and rancher, and worked for Lane County Road Department.

He married Bonnie Barnett in Dighton, Kansas. She survives.

Survivors include his One Son - Darin & Danica Donecker of San Antonio, Texas, Three Daughters - Teresa Washburn of Greenfield, Indiana, Terria & Rick Ashby of Ulysses, Kansas, Tricia Donecker of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother Dave & Grace Donecker of Garden City, Kansas, Three Sisters - Sue & Brent Rogers of Scott City, Kansas, Jana & Paul Bailey of Wichita, Kansas, Tammy & Mike Kniffin of Wichita, Kansas, One Sister in Law - Cheryl Donecker of Wichita, Kansas, Eleven Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Son - Duane Donecker, and One Brother - Jim Donecker.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Healy United Methodist Church in Healy, Kansas with Marletta Wilkens presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Terry Donecker Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 552, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Interment will be in the Healy Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
