Sylvia Lagunas, age 59, died on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her home in Garden City, Kansas.  She was born on March 5, 1960 in Plainview, Texas the daughter of Alejo R. and Margarita Padron Lagunas.

She worked multiple jobs in Garden City including; Finney County Community Corrections, Kansas Childrens Service League, Mosaic, and TJ Max.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas.

Survivors include:

Oscar Lagunas of Liberal, Kansas

Yolanda Martinez of Cincinnati, Ohio

Ninfa Turner of Midwest City, Oklahoma

Diana Arras of Garden City, Kansas

Feliciano Lagunas of Liberal, Kansas

Alicia Molina of Liberal, Kansas

Josie Lagunas of Liberal, Kansas

Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Jose, Guadalupe, Pancho, Pilar, Margarito and one sister, Maria Farris.

Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 7 pm at Price & Sons Funeral Home.

Mass of the resurrection will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Interment will be held immediately following mass at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
