Stella Andrews

Stella A. Andrews, age 70, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on November 1, 1943 in Montour Falls, New York, the daughter of John and Anna Lagoski Stanko. A resident of Scott City since 1996 moving from Sugar Hill. New York, she was a mental health nurses aide before becoming a CNA and CMA. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors Include: Two Sons: Clayton C. Groves of Watkins Glen, New York William J. and Melissa L. Groves of Leoti, Kansas One Daughter: Christina A. and Donald Duvall of Scott City, Kansas Nine Grandchildren, and Four Great-Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents, four brothers; John, Frank, Mike, Stanley; and three sisters; Mary, Elizabeth, Francis. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014. With the Rev. Scotty Wagner presiding. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date Memorials contributions may be made to the Stella Anna Andrews Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, Kansas.
