Stanley Arden Tubbs, age 78, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune, Kansas. Mr. Tubbs was born December 12, 1933 at Morning Sun, Iowa, the son of Oscar B. & Pearl Smith Tubbs. Mr. Tubbs became a Kansas resident in 1943 and attended school in Ruleton, Kansas. He danced his way into Joan Wallace's heart at a barn dance and they were married on December 19, 1954 in Weskan, Kansas and moved to Greeley County in 1955. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1956 and deployed to Germany during the Korean Conflict, and was separated from the service in 1958. He and Joan celebrated their 57th anniversary on December 19, 2011. Stanley will not only be remembered for all his hard work and loyalty, but for his kind heart, and most of all for his dedication and love as a father, husband, brother, grandfather and friend.
Mr. Tubbs was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Tribune, Kansas.

Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren
His parents, six brothers and three sisters have preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a. m. (M.S.T.) Monday, April 23, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas with Ron Riley officiating.
Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
Friends may call from noon to 8:00 pm Saturday and from 1:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to Greeley County Health Center nurses in care of the funeral home.
