Sonja Scott

Sonja Kay Scott, age 51, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on June 12, 1961 in Wellington, Kansas the daughter of James and JoAnn Brady Main. A resident of Garden City 1985 she was a bookkeeper in the Crop Production Administration office at the Garden City CO-OP. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Garden City, Kansas. In June of 1991, she married Paul Scott in Garden City, Kansas. He survives. Other Survivors Include: One Son, Jason Buresh of Wichita, Kansas; Three Daughters, Crystal Steinmetz of Garden City, Kansas, Stephanie Scott of Garden City, Kansas and Kayla Scott of Garden City, Kansas; Two Brothers, Robert Main of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Kim Main of Pittsburg, Kansas; Her Step-Father, Jack Yearout of Wichita, Kansas; Two Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Father, James Main, her Mother, JoAnn Yearout and a Brother, Steve Main. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no calling times. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Caldwell, Kansas. Memorials may be given to St. Catherine Hospice in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
