Selma “Sally” M. Heck, age 75, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on June 5, 1940 in Dickinson, North Dakota, the daughter of Adam and Margaret Weisgerber Klug, Sr. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1971 moving from Beach, North Dakota, she was a LPN retiring 1990 from Park Lane Nursing Home.
Sally loved volunteering at the Park Lane Nursing Home and at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and being outdoors.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas.
On June 27, 1961 she married Thomas Heck at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dickinson, North Dakota. He survives.
Survivors include her Husband - Thomas Heck of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sons - Marlin & Marie Heck of Lawrence, Kansas, Wes & Deborah Heck of Ogallala, Nebraska, One Daughter - Melinda & Jamie Davis of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - David Klug of Meridian, Idaho, Twelve Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Four Brothers - Ben Klug, George Klug, Adam Klug,Jr., Paul Klug and One Grandson Christian Davis.
Vigil Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2015.
Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 with Fr. Bernard Felix presiding.
Memorials may be given to the Park Lane Nursing Home in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
