Sameul Kelley

Scott City Former Port Orchard resident Samuel W. Kelley, 27, of Glendale, Ariz., died Saturday, October 1, 2005 in Glendale, Arizona. Born May 20, 1978 in Garden City, Kan., he graduated from Central Kitsap High School in Silverdale, Washington in 1996 and served in the Army from 1997 to 2001. He was a student and mechanic. Sam loved spending time with his son, Jordan and family and friends. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, and tinkering on cars. He had an affinity for playing computer games (and winning anyway he could). Even though one of his favorite pastimes was being a major source of aggravation and frustration to his brother and sisters, he rarely left them without a smile on their faces. Lastly, if Sam ever found himself alone, he was seldom alone for long. He had, from his mother's side, a wonderful gift of gab. He could find a friend in anyone, and was their friend in no time. Surviving are his son, Jordan A. Kelley of Port Orchard; his mother, Tammy Wagner of Bremerton; his father and stepmother, Michael and Colleen Kelley of Bremerton; siblings, Patrick Kelley (Maxine), Saria Sullivan (Eric), Calidonia Kelley (Tony) and Karina Esguerra (Sonny); his grandparents, Verene Dearden of Scott City, Kan., and Lloyd and Mary Wagner, of Rush Center, Kan Memorial Service to be held Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene on 11th and Elizabeth in Scott City. Memorials may be given to Jordan Kelley for a scholarship fund.
