Ruby A. Latham, age 57 passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 18, 1956 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Roy and Jessie Lee Bell-White Ivey. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was Cook and retail manager. Ruby was a resident of Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas. On June 10, 1973 she married Dearrell Tummons in Scott City, Kansas. She later married Eugene C. Latham on May 25, 1978 in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on November 2, 2000 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her One Son - Steven & Samantha Latham of Dodge City, Kansas, One Daughter - Glenda & Stacy Griffin of Garden City, Kansas, Four Brothers - Roy Richard Ivey of Pembroke, Kentucky, William Ivey of Dighton, Kansas, Jack Ivey of Scott City, Kansas, Anthony & Elizabeth Ivey of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sisters - Betty & Jim Bailey of Scott City, Kansas, Peggy Cooper of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Bonnie & Preston Stewart of Calhan, Colorado, Eight Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Husband and One Sister - Jacquelyn Faye Ivey. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas10:30 a.m Monday, July 29, 2013 with the Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding. Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may be given to the Ruby Latham Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
