Roy Sherman

Roy G. Sherman Jr., age 53, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on August 17, 1954 in Silver City, New Mexico, the son of Roy Gordon and Myrna Rupe Sherman Sr. A resident of Wichita, Kansas for 20 years, he was an Mechanical Inspector for Air Midwest Airline. On May 10, 1984 he married Debra Ann Turley in Wichita, Kansas. She survives. Survivors Includes his Wife - Debra A. Sherman of Wichita, Kansas, Two Brothers - Jerry Sherman of Ozark, Missouri and Robbie Sherman of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and One Sister. Funeral Services will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 withe Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Roy G. Sherman Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home. A closed casket visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
