Ronald Martin Wasinger

Ronald “Ronnie” Martin Wasinger, age 75, died at the the High Plains Retirement Village in Lakin, Kansas on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He was born on November 20, 1941 in Finney County, Kansas the son of John Martin and Odilia Appelhans Wasinger. He worked as Garden City Western Railway for 28 years. He also worked for Pile trucking as an accountant for 15 years. On December 20, 1969, he married Karla Sue “Dolly” Eves. She Survives. He is survived by: Two Children Lori D. Carter Todd J. and Ericha Wasinger of Lenexa, Kansas Two Granddaughters McKayla and Tyler Carlson of Lenexa Mckenzi Wasinger of Lenexa, Kansas Two Brothers Sy and Norma Wasinger of Marienthal, Kansas Vern Wasinger of Deerfield, Wasinger Three Sisters Marnieta and Earl Pile of Garden City, Kansas Kathleen Wasinger of Deerfield, Kansas Annie and Terry Stoppel of Garden City, Kansas Two great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Leo, Rich, Cyril, Larry, Cletus. Graveside inurnment services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to the Emmaus House or to the Finney County Humane Society in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home; 620 N. Main St. Garden City, Kansas 67846. Inurnment will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
