Ronald Dale Studley passed away on July 29th, 2016 at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. He was born March 12, 1954 in North Platte Nebraska to Dale H. and Helen Rowson Studley. Ron had the wonderful opportunity to be raised on Rosedale Ranch which his parents owned. Ron attended college at UNL and the National College of Business in Rapid City where he got his degree in accounting. Ron worked on the Ranch in North platte and married his loving wife Deb Effenbeck in 1979. Ron and his wife moved to Kansas and Ron worked for many years doing accounting for some of the largest feedlots in Kansas and Texas. Ron in recent years frequently returned to the Ranch he loved to assist  his mother Helen with the accounting and management of the Ranch.Ron had a love for the outdoors and he raised a big garden each year.  He always made sure he shared his garden with family and friends and neighbors.  Ron had a passion for the stock market and did his first stock trading when he was 14. Ron spent many mornings watching and trading stocks. Ron enjoyed his family very  much and his trips to Vegas and Mesa. Ron loved his family dearly, and loved all those around him.   Ron is survived by his wife Deb, daughter Melissa Studley of Kentucky, mother in law Lila Effenbeck of North Platte, mother Helen (Studley) Kimball and stepfather Dick Kimball of North Platte, brothers Mark & Donna Studley of Speed Kansas, and Dan Studley of North Platte, sister Mary Studley of North Platte, and step siblings Rick Kimball of North Dakota and Piper Kimball of California, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews Ron is preceded in death by his father Dale Studley and brother Alfred, his father in law John Effenbeck, his grandparents, and many aunts and uncles and cousins. Ron was amazing and always full of surprises including his decision to share his life after death with organ and tissue donation.   Funeral Services will be held at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 with Pastor Warren Prochnow presiding. Memorials may be given to the Scott County EMT’s % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m Thursday Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held in North Platte, Nebraska at a later date.
