Ronald E. Eaton

Ronald E. Eaton, age 94, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on January 18, 1930, in Goodland, Kansas, the son of Liston G. & Mildred Conine Eaton. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was a farmer, custom harvester, and owner and operator of Eaton Trucking.

 He was a member of the First Christian Church of Scott City, Kansas. Ron was also a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge #284 of Scott City, Kansas.

On January 6, 1951, he married Martha L. Inman in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She survives.

Survivors include his Wife - Martha Eaton of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Ronnie Eugene & Debra Eaton of Canyon, Texas, Two Daughters - Judy & Terry Faurot of Scott City, Kansas, Debra & Gary Frank of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Velda Thomas of Scott City, Kansas, One Aunt - Waneta Whitham of Dothan, Alabama, Eight Grandchildren - Shane & Becky Faurot of Scott City, Kansas, Amanda & Jamie Martinez of Scott City, Kansas, Jared & Julie Faurot of Scott City, Kansas, Landon & Angie Frank of Scott City, Kansas, Lauren & Jordan Nichols of Platte City, Missouri, Chase & Krystal Frank of Scott City, Kansas, Krista & B.J. Simpson of Amarillo, Texas, Tyler Eaton of St. George, Utah, Twenty Great Grandchildren, and One Great Great Grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Three Brothers - Darrol Eaton, Norman Eaton, and Terry Eaton, and One Sister - Norma Lou Hall. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024, at First Christian Church with Rev. Rodney Hopper presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Christian Church or the El Quartelejo Museum in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 552, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
