Ronald E. Berland

Ronald E. Berland, age 61, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at his home in Scott County, Kansas. He was born on March 10, 1955 in Minot, North Dakota, the son of Donald J. and L. Jean Berg Berland. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1971 he was a welder, oiler, and operator at the helium plant for KN Energy and a locator for Tallgrass Energy gas company. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include his Life Partner - Valarie Katich of Denver, Colorado, Mother - Jean Berland of Velva, North Dakota, Two Brothers - Dick Berland of Jamestown, North Dakota, Larry Berland of Hazen, North Dakota, One Sister - Linda Klein of Velva, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his Father. Memorials Services will be held at a later date. There will be no calling times.
