Roland G. Teubner, age 96, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on April 29, 1914 in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, the son of Albert Richard and Mabel Helen Balderson Teubner. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since August of 2003 moving from Crowley, Colorado, he was a retired minister.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas.
In January of 1934 he married Dorothy Elizabeth Wooster. She passed away on September 7, 1962 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. On March 23, 1963 he married Sharron Naomi Curtiss in Rocky Ford, Colorado. She survives.
Survivors Include his One Son - Gordon & Connie Teubner of Centennial, Colorado, Five Daughters - Carol Walkup of Denver, Colorado, Susanne Drescher of Holyoke, Colorado, Linda & Tom Roan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Elizabeth & Rodney McCleary of Scott City, Kansas, Cynthia & Devin Ringling, One Daughter in Law - Joann Teubner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Fifteen Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife â Dorothy, One Son â Ronald, One Brother â Harold Teubner and Two Sisters â Helen Teubner & Gladys Leimbach.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010 with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.
Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado at 1:00 p.m. (M.T.) Wednesday, June 2, 2010 with Rev. Kyle Evans and Steve Walkup presiding.
Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may be given to the Roland Teubner Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
