Roland Lee "Doc" Koehn, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on May 16, 1926 in Major County, Oklahoma, the son of Ameil and Mable Nightengale Koehn. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1947 moving from Fairview, Oklahoma, he was a farmer.
He was a member of the Scott Mennonite Church in Pence, Kansas.
On November 1, 1951 he married Margaret Koehn in Harvey County, Kansas. She survives.
Other Survivors include: One Son - Gerald & Kathy Koehn of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Sharon & Rick Roemer of Healy, Kansas, One Grandson - Evan Koehn of Overland Park, Kansas, One Granddaughter - Amber Koehn of Wichita, Kansas, Two Brothers - Richard Koehn and Victor Koehn of Fairview, Oklahoma, Two Sisters - Betty Giesbrecht of Macon, Mississippi, and Emalee Wedel of Isabella, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Funeral Service will be held at the Scott Mennonite Church in Pence, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008 with Charles Nightengale, and Franklin Koehn presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott Mennonite Church Cemetery in Pence, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Scott Mennonite Church Or Scott County EMT's % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home - Scott City and from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday @ Scott Mennonite Church in Pence, Kansas.
