Roberta Mae Pierce, age 77, died Monday, June 3, 2013 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on August 11, 1935 in Camp Cook, South Dakota the daughter of Robert C. and Mae Wright Morrison. Roberta was a waitress and homemaker and had been an off and on resident of Garden City for over 38 years.
In 1952 she married Franklin C. Hughes. Then in 1984 she married Albert Pierce. He died in 1991.
Survivors include:
Three Daughters, Peggy Hughes,
Phyllis Anderson of Ione, Washington and
Cindy Randle of Garden City, Kansas;
One Son, Phillip Hughes of New York, New York;
Six Sisters and Four Brothers;
Sixteen Grandchildren, Thirty Great-Grandchildren and Six Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Two Sons, Keith & Charles Hughes, Two Brothers and Two Sisters.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
There will be no calling times.
