Robert Tompkin

Robert James Tompkin, age 52, died Friday, September 22, 2006 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born June 8, 1954 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Robert and Henrietta Ackley Tompkin. A lifetime resident of Garden City, he held several different jobs in the community. He was a welder and enjoyed gardening and participating in area dog shows with his doberman pinchers. Survivors include: his mother, Henrietta Tompkin of Garden City, a sister, Lisa Hart of Evergreen, Colorado, one niece and three nephews. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City with Pastor Jeff Crist presiding. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
