Robert Holman

Garden City, Kansas Robert E. Holman, age 83, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on March 24, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Earl and Verla Mae Wyatt Holman. A resident of Garden City since July, 1998 moving from Lindsay, Oklahoma he was a plasterer in the building construction industry. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He married Kathleen M. Lockshaw in 1946 at Pamona, California. She died in 1985 at Pamona. On April 29, 1988 he married Laverne Pamplin in Garden City, Kansas. She died November 7, 2007 at Garden City. Survivors Include: Two Daughters, Diana L. Holman of Victorville, California and Christina A. Finch of Cuckamunga, California; Two Sons, Daniel R. Holman of Alstead, New Hampshire and Sean A. Holman of Cottonwood, Arizona; Two Step-Daughters, Brenda Ulrich of Garden City, Kansas and Sherri Smith of Garden City, Kansas; Several Grandchildren There will be no calling times. A private service will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials be given to the Robert Holman Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
