Robert “Bob” Oren Gentry, age 82, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune, Kansas. Bob was born December 30, 1932 in Tribune, Kansas, the son of O.J. & Vivian Marcella Ford Gentry. He was a lineman for Wheatland Electric as well as an employee of the City of Tribune retiring from both in 1994. Bob served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Bob was a member of the Assembly of God Church as well as a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 7521, Kuder Senior Citizens Center and Prairie Ridge Golf Course all of Tribune, Kansas. He was also a square dance caller and a member of the Spurs and Garters and Wagon Wheels Square Dance Clubs.
On June 8, 1957 he married Betty Ann Sons at Tribune, Kansas.

Eight grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren
His parents, a sister, Helen Mallory and in 1993, a Son, Robert G. Gentry, preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. ( M.D.T.) Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Assembly of God Church in Tribune, Kansas with the Reverends Justin Scherer and Mike Underwood officiating.
Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas with Military Honors provided by the United States Army Funeral Detail.
Friends may call from noon until 8:00 P.M. Monday and from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Greeley County Health Center, Assembly of God Church or Kuder Senior Citizens Center in care of the funeral home.
