Ricky Hands

Ricky W. Hands, age 67, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on December 5, 1946 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Raymond and Mildred Algrim Hands. A lifetime resident of Garden City he was a painter. He was a member of the Homestead Cowboys. Survivors include: Four Sons, Junior Hands of Garden City, Kansas, Greg Hands of Garden City, Kansas, Tracy Hands of Larned, Kansas and Scott Wallace of Lakin, Kansas; Three Sisters, Karen L. Reece of Manzanola, Colorado, Celia D. Stansbury of Chesapeake, Virginia and Rhona L. Hands of Portsmouth, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no public calling times. Memorials may be given to the Homestead Assisted Living Center in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
