Richard Malchow

Richard Scott Malchow, age 38, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Gove County, Kansas. He was born on September 10, 1970 in Ontario, Oregon, the son of Harry and Joan Mayden Malchow. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1988 moving from Arizona, he was a Roughneck on oil rigs and was currently employed with Chambless Roofing in Scott City, Kansas. Other Survivors include his Mother - Joan Malchow of Scott City, Kansas, Four Sons - Jason Lacy of Howell, Kansas, Gage Malchow of Johnstown, Colorado, Alec Malchow of Johnstown, Colorado, Evan Malchow of Sun City, California, One Sister - Tanya Luke of Scott City, Kansas, Two Brothers - Darren Malchow of Scott City, Kansas, David Malchow of Scott City, Kansas, Two Half Sisters - Shelly Woody of Pasco, Washington and Tami Mayden of Beaverton, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father â Harry Malchow. Memorial Services will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding. Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the Richard S. Malchow Memorial Fund % of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City. There will be no calling times.
