Reba Hearson

Reba R. Hearson, age 87, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on July 3, 1926 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Jay and Grace Lynch Taylor. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a homemaker and a Clerk for Duckwalls from 1983 until 1990. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas. On January 29, 1946 she married Leonard Sager in Newton, Kansas. He passed away on August 5, 1982 in Garden City, Kansas. On July 21, 1990 she married Herman Hearson in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on June 15, 2009 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her One Daughter - LuJauna & Rex Turley of Marienthal, Kansas, One Grandson - Dustin Turley of Garden City, Kansas, One Granddaughter - Sharnell Mullen of Derby, Kansas & Fiancé - Jeramie Swope of Derby, Kansas, One Great Granddaughter - Alexis Mullen of Derby, Kansas, One Brother - Don & Mary Taylor of Lancaster, Texas, One Cousin - Bob Green of Wellington, Kansas and Numerous Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Two Husbands, Two Brothers, One Sister, One Son - Dennis Sager, and One Great Granddaughter - Jessica Sager. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 with Rev. Scott Wagner presiding. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church or Park Lane Nursing Home % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott County, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
