Raymond George Stearns

Raymond George Stearns Jr., age 67, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He was born on October 26, 1952, in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Raymond G. and Mary Catherine Cranfield Stearns. Raymond had been a resident of the area since 1995. Raymond was a laborer in various agricultural settings and a member of the Gospel Fellowship Church of Shallow Water, Kansas. Survivors include his friend, Brian King of Healy, Kansas, two daughters – Cindy Sudberg of Las Vegas, Nevada and Shannon Pipitone of Fort Edward, New York, two step-sons – Adam Lumpkins of Wichita, Kansas and Daniel Lumpkins of Newton, Kansas, one step-daughter, Amanda Keith of Chickasaw, Oklahoma, and sixteen Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant child, and one adult child. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 17th, at 10:00 A.M. at the Gospel Fellowship Church in Shallow Water, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Raymond Sterns Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home. There will be no calling times.
