Dr. Randall Kevin Fahrenholtz, age 63, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Greeley County, Kansas. Randy was born March 22, 1950 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Herbert & Erma Easter Fahrenholtz. He had been a resident of Tribune, Kansas since May of 2005 and was a member of the Physician staff at Greeley County Health Center and Greeley County Family Practice in Tribune, Kansas. Randy earned his Bachelor degree in 1972 from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas, his Doctor of Medicine in 1975 from University of Kansas Medical School in Kansas City, Kansas and his Master of Public Health in 1999 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas.
Randy was a gifted pianist and musician. People enjoyed his accomplished piano solos as well as his directing and singing in the Tribune Men's Ensemble.
Randy loved flying, and became a licensed pilot as a young man. His pleasure culminated in building, owning and flying his own plane. Many people appreciated Dr. Fahrenholtz as a physician for his listening skills and gentle care. His service touched the lives of many and he will be greatly missed.
Randy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas in which he served as an Elder. He was also involved with the Greeley County Community Health Care Action Team, was a former Greeley County Development board member and the Greeley County Airport board member all of Tribune, Kansas. He held memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians, Kansas Medical Society, Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
On July 8, 1972 he married Janice Fay John at Tribune, Kansas.

His father, Herbert Fahrenholtz and his Father in Law, Robert John, precede him in death.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am (MDT) Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas with Terry Woodbury officiating. Private inurnment will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
There will be no calling times.
Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church or the Greeley /Wallace County Health Care Foundation that supports the Greeley County Hospital and Clinic in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.
