Patsy Ruddick

Patsy Ruth Ruddick, age 79, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born December 16, 1932 in Arma, Kansas the daughter of Joseph Clarence & Eva Alumbaugh Ruddick. A resident of Garden City since 1954, she was a teacher and had been the Director of Library Services at Garden City Community College retiring in 1994. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas, former President of the Beta Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society and was a life member of the National Education Association. Patsy served on several education boards, was involved with numerous committee's, groups and associations and volunteered for a number of community organizations. Survivors Include: Several Nephews, Nieces & Friends. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no calling times at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Mount Olive Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Western Kansas Community Foundation in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
