Patric M. West

Patric Michael West, age 74, passed away on January 23, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on August 20, 1950, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Edgar Wayne Sr. and Phyliss Wheelock West. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was a mill operator for 26 years and a shop worker for 21 years for Fairleigh Corporation.

Patric was a United States Navy Veteran, serving from 1969 through 1973, and a member of the First Christian Church.

On August 21, 1973, he married Marilyn Sue Wright in Scott City, Kansas. She survives.

Survivors include his wife - Marilyn Sue West of Scott City, Kansas, Three Daughters - Cara & Curtis Hartman of Herington, Kansas, Brandy & Patrick Heim of Scott City, Kansas, Andrea & Bill Freer of Henderson, Texas, Seven Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandchildren.

He was Preceded in Death by his parents, Two Brothers - Edgar West and John West, and One Sister - Dawn Ellen Leiker. 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, with Don Williams presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Patric Michael West Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 552, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2025, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
