Norma Jean Heiney

Norma Jean Heiney, age 89, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 22, 1935, in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of Theodore and Benita Brown Williamson. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2000 moving from Ford, Kansas, she was a homemaker.

In 1953, she married Carl A. Simons in Garnett, Kansas. He passed away on May 25, 1976, in Leoti, Kansas. She then married James W. Heiney in 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed away on February 8, 1999, in Dodge City, Kansas. 

Survivors include her Two Daughters - Kay Todd of Scott City, Kansas, and C.J. Davis of Scott City, Kansas, Five Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Two Husbands, and Two Grandsons - Brett Todd & Jared Bishop. 

Private Memorial Graveside Services will be held at a later date.
