Nikki Rene Miller, age 40 of Holcomb Ks, died March 13, 2020 in Garden City, Ks.
She was born to Douglas K. and Gayle A.(Trent)Miller on May 5, 1979 in Dodge City, Ks.
Growing up in Holcomb, Nikki graduated there in 1997. Wanting to fulfill her dream of serving
in the military, at the age 34 she joined the U.S. Army Reserves, serving as a Specialist 4 in the
129th Transportation Company Detachment 2 until her death.
Nikki was posthumously promoted to Sergent.
Being a Special Education and Regular education paraprofessional at the Charles Stones Intermediate
Center in Garden City Kansas was also a perfect fit for Nikki's desire to serve. She loved both jobs.
Survivors include her husband Roger Clark of Lyons, ks, Nikki's children Alexandra R. Gillespie and Austyn D. Clark,
both of the home, her mother Gayle A Miller of Holcomb Ks., her brother Jason D. Miller of Garden City, Ks. and her
maternal grandparents Arvin and Joyce Trent of Lakin,Ks. She is preceded in death by her father Doug,
her paternal grandparents Maynard and Ruth Miller, two aunts and an uncle.
Nikki's memorial will be held July 27, 2020, 10:30am at the Bible Christian Church 1501 E. Mary, Garden City Kansas,
Pastors Chad Ulrich and Brian Wilson officiating. A military honor ceremony will follow the memorial..In lieu of flowers,
the family suggest donations to the Nikki Miller Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home
