Neva Terrill

Neva Wynona Terrill, age 92, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Greeley County Long Term Care in Tribune, Kansas. Neva was born December 2, 1920 at Tribune, Kansas the daughter of Charles Hugo & Mary Elizabeth Swilley Thon. A lifetime resident of Tribune, Kansas, she was a homemaker and broom maker, she was also one of the original "Rosie the Riveters" at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas during World War Two. Neva attended the Hoare Bible Church in Horace, Kansas. On April 17, 1950, she married Vernon Henry Terrill at Tribune, Kansas. Vernon passed away on August 5, 1992 at Tribune, Kansas. Neva's surviving family includes- Two children- Mary Lou Boese- Hays, Kansas Charles Henry Freemen- Hays, Kansas Three siblings- Ronald Thon- Tribune, Kansas Oleta Bergquist- Tribune, Kansas Letha Wishon - Scott City, Kansas Her parents, husband, three sisters, Helen Martin, Beulah Peterson and Hazel Hoffman and two brothers, Lester Thon & Wayne Thon have preceded her in death. Memorial services will be held at a later date with inurnment in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Neva Terrill Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
