Nellora Holstein

Nellora E. Holstein, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. Nellora was born October 4, 1919 at Oak Valley, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin T. & Cora Lea Harris Warrington. Nellora was a homemaker and teacher had been a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2011 moving from Leoti, Kansas. Nellora was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scott City, Kansas and Wichita County EHU. She was a former 4-H leader and Wichita County School Board member. On December 26, 1944, she married Alex Holstein at the Zion Lutheran Church in southern Wichita County, Kansas. Alex passed away on August 4, 1983 at Garden City, Kansas. Nellora's surviving family includes- Four Children- Duane Holstein- Leoti, Kansas Gary & Rhonda Holstein- Leoti, Kansas Rosella Loflin- Wichita, Kansas Sandra & John Capraro- Brush, Colorado Ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren Her parents, husband and a brother, Leslie Warrington, precede her in death. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Warren Prochnow officiating. Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Thursday and from 10:00 am until noon on Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Wichita County Amusement Association in care of the funeral home.
