L. Nadiene Koehn, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on March 29, 1937 in Copeland, Kansas, the daughter of Clemen and Lydia Nightengale Koehn. A resident of Wichita County, Kansas since 1958 moving from Copeland, Kansas she was a homemaker and taught kindergarten at Sunny Plains School in Pence, Kansas from 1987 until 1998.
She was a member of the Scott Mennonite Church in Pence, Kansas.
On December 22, 1957 she married Granville Koehn at the Salem Mennonite Church in Copeland, Kansas. He survives.
Survivors include her husband - Granville Koehn of Marienthal, Kansas, three sons - Karlan & Sherry Koehn of Marienthal, Kansas, Lonnie & Karla Koehn of Marienthal, Kansas, Bradley & Melody Koehn of Leoti, Kansas, three sisters Lois & LeeVern Koehn of Othello, Washington, Lovella & Wilbur Koehn of Ogallala, Nebraska, Laura & Kenneth Koehn of Halstead, Kansas and seven Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and One Sister â LaVonna.
Funeral Services will be at the Scott Mennonite Church in Pence, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 with Charles Nightengale and Ervin Nightengale presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott Mennonite Church Cemetery in Pence, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Sunny Plains School or the Scott County Hospital % of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott CIty.
